BVI FSC issues Advisory Warning on BCF International Capital S.A.

On December 14, the British Virgin Islands Financial Services Commission published Advisory Warnings on three companies; the documents were issued under Section 4(1)(l) of the Financial Services Commission Act, 2001.

One company of which the BVI FSC informed the public is named BCF International Capital S.A., it is also known as BCF Bankorp International Capital S.A., BCF Bankorp, BCF Banker Plus, and BCF Consulting and has been offering private equity, venture capital, lending and corporate finance services whilst purporting to be licensed and regulated in the British Virgin Islands jurisdiction. According to Commission’s enquiries, this BVI business company uses the aforementioned company and trading or operating names, and is offering its services through two websites located at www.bcfbankorp.com and www.bcfbankerplus.com.

The Commission warned the public that the BVI business company known as BCF International Capital S.A., and operating under the other names, has never been licensed by the FSC to carry on financial services business in or from within the Territory of the British Virgin Islands.
